Also this weekend, we have the Belpark training camp where I'm hopping to pick up lots of helpful tips on how to get really good at this sport. Apart from Saturdays cycle, I also managed a 90 minute turbo session on Wednesday, which for me is monumental. My feelings on indoor cycling sessions are no secret. On Tuesday and Friday I did my first double day sessions as you can see in the data below. In all it was a good week. As I said, lots of milestones and a precursor for the way things are going to be.
In terms of speed, general progression etc, I am really excited to see how I fair this coming weekend with each of the disciplines. Not being anything close to a cyclist, I have no idea if 25km/h is a good average for a 100km cycle. Feel free to let me know if you do. I am really enjoying the new wheels though and am feeling more and more comfortable on it. As for running, I have done no real intensive running in a few weeks but I am feeling pretty comfortable when I am out. Swimming is solid. I have also been advised to start doing yoga, the other half is helping with that so all in all, a (almost) 12hr week has me pretty happy and tired. Stay tuned - Phil
