
Over the last number of weeks there has been a lot of change in my world, so I have been neglecting my studies. As a result I had to put a number of hours into my Personal Trainer course yesterday. Like many of the previous sections, a lot of it came naturally to me. I covered training loads, periodization (areas I have personally dabbled in over the years) and nutrition. Nutrition is proving really enjoyable and although I'm familiar with a lot of what's been said, it's great to cover these areas again. Recently, Remie has begun making homemade Paleo Granola. It is absolutely delicious and is increasing my protein intake which is essential as my Ironman Training load increases. I have just 13 sections left to complete and then I'll have my final exams. That reminds me, I need to re-test for my lifeguard certificate this summer. Busy times. If anyone wants to talk about training plans or nutrition please drop me a mail.
